I am a hiker and my quest for reaching peaks of mountains is on going, I was also in search for a climbing buddy. On my second year of climbing and after several sports equipment failures, I discovered Suunto Vector Barometer, Compass and Altimeter Watch.

It may take a few minutes to get the temperature of your location but be sure it is not locked on your wrists or else it will just always reflect your body temperature.  I fight off bad weather with the use of the barometer. It takes a little learning to appreciate fully the altimeter, thermometer and barometer in Suunto Vector Barometer, Compass and Altimeter Watch but I am able to apply my military skills here. You do not have to be a military man; you just have to read the manual that comes with the watch in the package. The compass has an ability to adjust for local declination. You can survive with a map and the precise compass of Suunto Vector Barometer, Compass and Altimeter Watch for directions.

I have been using Suunto Vector Barometer, Compass and Altimeter Watch as well for my every morning jogs. It can monitor my heart rate perfectly which lets me know if I have been abusing myself with the run.

Unlike other watches, the battery can be replaced by you. I did it several times without being afraid to destroy it. The battery seats on a separate sealed compartment part of the watch so it just needs to be unscrewed by a dime and you can now replace the battery minus ruining any other part of the watch.

I have been using my Suunto Vector Barometer, Compass and Altimeter Watch for almost seven years and it has only give up to me now. I am sure to buy another Suunto Vector Barometer, Compass and Altimeter Watch for replacement.
